We have lost bargaining power since 2014: GM Kader

Now we are called home grown political party. Agents of the government party have been inducted into our party, he said.

They join our party but do politics of other parties. Criticizing the government party, he said, "They (agents) take various privileges from our party but they do politics of the government party." Whenever we want to do proper politics, we try to break our party and create another party. It is done by the government, so that we cannot do politics independently.

Golam Mohammad Quader said these things during the chief guest's speech at the Jatiya Party chairman's office in Banani on Saturday. He said, "I have seen how low people can go for petty interests. I have seen how much people can sacrifice for the country and nation. They will be on my way. May Almighty Allah allow these lessons to be used for the benefit of the country and the nation.

Pointing out that the Jatiya Party has gradually weakened after 1990, GM Quader said, "Parties in our country cannot survive if they are out of power." The rulers did not allow us to do politics by oppressing them. Those who joined the ruling party left the party after 90 years. They did not see the interests of the party or the country.
