Visa Policy Will be happy if US implements visa policy: Foreign Minister
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 27 December 2023: Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen said that he would be happy if the United States applies visa policy on those who resist the elections.
The foreign minister said this while talking to reporters on Wednesday.
He said, "What America has said is that they will apply the visa policy on those who resist or boycott the elections. I will be very happy if they actually implement it. They (BNP) are boycotting the elections. So that the elections do not take place. America." It is better to implement the commitments that are made."
He said, "Our main objective is that we don't want a shadow war in the region. Now all the countries in the region agree with us. The Europeans have fallen into a shadow war. We don't want that in our region."
Complaining that many countries want a shadow war in this region, the minister said, "Many countries want us to have a shadow war in this region."
