Dhaka, November 26: Recognizing freelancers will boost self-esteem in the society, said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, adding that our children are very talented. They can learn a lot from very little. Young people will be able to learn the languages of different countries of the world and arrange their own employment. They will stand on their own feet, be their own boss and work on their own, young people will walk with their heads held high in the society with self-respect.

The Prime Minister made the remarks before inaugurating the digital ID card issuance program for about 6.5 lakh freelancers in the ICT sector on Wednesday night (November 25).

Prime Minister's Adviser on Private Sector Salman Fazlur Rahman and State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak spoke before the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister said that freelancers had to face various problems for so long as there was no recognition of freelancers. This is also a kind of job.

But it is to be the boss of oneself and not just the boss of oneself but also to give employment opportunities to others, to be the boss of others. That means giving others the opportunity to work, that opportunity will also be.

Thanking Sajeeb Wazed Joy, IT Adviser for his cooperation in this work, Sheikh Hasina said, "I have told Sajeeb Wazed Joy from the beginning that it must be done. You tell me how to do it and give advice accordingly. I took advice from him. In fact, I actually learned computer from Sajib Wazed Joy."

The Prime Minister said it would help freelancers get social loans as well as bank loans and help in empowerment. No need to bother looking for a job anymore.

She said Bangladesh has moved forward, Bangladesh will move forward. They (young people) are making a huge contribution to our society. They will make more important contributions. Young people will be able to learn the languages ​​of different countries of the world and arrange their own employment. They will stand on their own feet, will be their own boss and will work on their own. They will continue to raise their heads in the society with self-respect.
