Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Nov 4: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's son and advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy said that four national leaders imprisoned in Dhaka Central Jail were killed by Ziaur Rahman's loyal soldiers on the orders of Khondaker Mostaq.

He made such comments in a post given on his verified page on the social media Facebook on Thursday, November 3, on the day of the historic Jail Murder.

In the Facebook post, Sajib Wazed Joy said, "On November 3, 1975, another terrible night came to the destiny of the nation. On the direct orders of Mostaq, soldiers loyal to army chief Ziaur Rahman sent assassins to kill Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmad, Mansoor Ali and Kamaruzzaman detained in Dhaka Central Jail."

He also said, "The contribution of the four national leaders could not be erased even if the anti-state wanted. Rather, their faces are still visible today. The march of independent Bangladesh that started with a huge legacy, extensive patriotism, and the crown of victory, the web of conspiracy that was broken by the success of the liberation war, is woven again. It started just a few years apart. On August 15, 1975, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was brutally killed with his family, and the country was pulled towards the opposite current of the spirit of the Liberation War."

Sajeeb Wazed Joy added a video to the post paying humble respect to the four national leaders.
