'Dena Pawna' to feature fresh faces

Along with established actors in the series, new faces will be seen in all important roles.

In search of new faces, Deepta Television had earlier announced the audition. The final performers from Chittagong, Rajshahi and Dhaka auditions have already started shooting after acting workshops.

The director of the series Golam Muktadir said that acting is a skill. It has to be learned and retained through regular practice. Almost all the new faces in our series are associated with theatre. They have come to learn acting. Now it is our job to make them friends with the camera!

Tanveen Sweety, Monir Khan Shimul, Nazneen Hasan, Shahdat Hossain along with experienced and popular actors have been joined in 'Dena Paona' series by Tanushree Karkoon, Tanay Biswas, Shawon Das, Priyant Barua, Mehedi Hasan, Sajjad Hossain and some other new faces.

Deepta Television Head of Program Ejaz Uddin Ahmed Shanto said that Deepta Television has been giving opportunities to new artists since the beginning. While the industry chases stars, Deepta Television has produced long and successful serials with artists like Palki, Aparajita, Tharfiri Thake, Maan Abhiman, Mashrafe Junior. Similarly, Deepta Television has given opportunity to the newcomers to pay off debts. This time Deepta TV's auditions have been expanded to Chittagong and Rajshahi in addition to Dhaka. Hopefully, in the future, Deepta Television will reach other major cities of Bangladesh with auditions. We want to bring together acting talent from across the country.

Deepta Television's own floor is regularly shooting Dena Pawna. Inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's short stories, this long series will show the pseudo form of present-day dowry. At the same time, the love of youth and lack of money are the main livelihoods. Ahmed Khan Hirak and Afifa Mohsina Orani are scripting the long series. Alvi Sarkar is writing the dialogues.
