Ambassador of Peace Actor Zayed Khan has been appointed 'Global Peace Ambassador'
Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 22 July 2023: The Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research, New York, USA, has given the 'Humanitarian Leadership Award' to Dhallywood actor Zayed Khan. At the same time, this Bangladeshi actor has been appointed as the Global Ambassador of Peace.
40 people around the world including Zayed Khan have been given 'Humanitarian Leadership Award' for their humanitarian contribution in various fields. The Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research has also published the list of honorees with photos on their website.
On Thursday night, Zayed Khan was presented with a certificate and a memento of honor in a ceremony organized in the Delegates Dining Room at the United Nations Headquarters in Manhattan, New York, USA. Before this, the congratulatory speech sent by the country's President Joe Biden was read.
Zayed Khan from New York said, "My activities and humanitarian activities during the Covid period have come to their attention. Because they asked me for mail about my activities earlier, I sent them. They wanted to know about my film work. Also, I am an actor, so they nominated me."
He also said, "I am overwhelmed by the honor given to me at the United Nations Headquarters, I will try to retain this honor. It is a rare honor. I really still can't believe it. I dedicated this achievement to my country."
A dinner was organized after the prize giving and honoring ceremony. Only those invited by the United Nations were present there. Apart from the 40 awardees, the ambassadors of different countries of the world were present at the event.
