Sheikh Mujib Film Animation film 'Mujib Amar Pita' to be released on October 1
Dhaka, September 24: To commemorate the 74th birth anniversary of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh's first full-length animated film, Mujib Amar Pita, will be screened at Star Cineplex, Bashundhara City, on September 28.
Later, on October 1, the film will be released across the country.
According to reports, Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud and Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak will attend the premiere.
Based on the book 'Sheikh Mujib Amar Pita' written by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the animated film is directed by Sohel Mohammad Rana.
Chisty Kanon and Fahad Ibn Kabir penned the screenplay.
The film received the censorship clearance on September 15.
The project received funding from the ICT Division.
Mujib Amar Pita will showcase the early life and struggle of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
