Police Event Anupam Roy in Dhaka to rock the stage for police show
Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 03 February 2024: The 49th anniversary of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) is being celebrated with various ceremonies under the theme 'Service and Virtue, DMP's Commitment'. As part of this, a cultural program started on Thursday night at Rajarbagh Police Lines ground. Popular musician Anupam Roy appeared on the stage at Dhaka in the cultural event.
He came to Dhaka on the invitation of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
Apart from Anupam, famous actors, actresses, singers and dancers of the country and artists of Bangladesh Police Sahitya and Sanskritik Parishad participated in the event. Popular actor Musharraf Karim presented the event. Earlier in the morning, a civic reception was organized at Rajarbagh Police Lines on the occasion of the establishment anniversary of DMP.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal as Chief Guest and Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Tapas, Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Md. Atiqul Islam, Senior Secretary of Public Security Department of Ministry of Home Affairs Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Inspector General of Bangladesh Police as special guests.
