Dhaka, January 13: Kolkata-based filmmaker Srijit Mukherji is going to produce a biopic on the legendary filmmaker of the subcontinent, Mrinal Sen. The name of this movie is 'Padatik'. Popular Bangladeshi actor Chanchal Chowdhury is donning the role of Mrinal Sen in this movie.
The first look poster of the movie has already been released, where Chanchal Chowdhury was seen as Mrinal Sen. In the poster, it is seen that Chanchal is sitting slightly tilted with one hand on the highway. He is looking back.
Bollywood Shahenshah, Amitabh Bachchan shared the poster and wished him well. Amitabh Bachchan shared the poster with his fans on his Facebook page and Instagram on Wednesday morning.
Sharing the poster, Amitabh wrote in the caption, "All good wishes". In the post, he hashtagged the names of the movie, Chanchal Chowdhury and Srijit Mukherji. Kolkata actress Manami Ghosh will play the role of Mrinal's wife Geeta Sen in the movie 'Padatik'. It is known that 'Padatik' will be released on the occasion of Mrinal Sen's centenary birth anniversary on May 14.
