Death Anniversary Chanchal Chowdhury posts emotional message on father's death anniversary
Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 28 December 2023: Actor Chanchal Chowdhury's presence is everywhere from the small screen to the big screen. He has proven himself with clean acting in various roles. He lost his father on this day last year. But Chanchal cannot forget the grief of losing his father.
Reminiscing in a Facebook post on Wednesday, he wrote, "I can't call 'Daddy' for a year / It's been a year today since our father passed away / I can't touch my father's hand for a year / I can't caress my father for a year / Sometimes a lonely cry late at night I call father father / father does not respond / never give again.'
He also wrote, 'I can't see my father even in my dreams/ What a hardship, what a hardship! Only those who are fatherless understand, only they know. When I caressed like a child at the end of our childhood roaring father like a tiger, the father used to look at me and smile / I don't see that smile even for a year.'
I can't even write a thousand words to explain, this one year without my father, how the fire of pain in my heart is burning. Father! Father! Father! Wherever you are, stay well, Dad. Father—this word only remains/ When you go far/ On an eternal journey.'
Chanchal Chowdhury's father, retired teacher Radha Gobind Chowdhury, passed away on December 27, 2022. He died while undergoing treatment in a private hospital in the capital.
