Jimi Arrest DB Police detains Pori Moni's makeup artist Jimi
Dhaka, August 7: Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) has arrested Junaid Karim Jimi (30), the makeup artist of actor Pori Moni. After his arrest, he was taken to the DB office for questioning. DB Chief Additional Commissioner AKM Hafeez Akter said on Friday (August 6) night.
Earlier on Wednesday (August 4) evening, RAB arrested Pori Moni after a four-hour raid on her house in Banani.
At this time various drugs were seized from her house. The next day, a case was filed against her under the Narcotics Control Act at Banani Police Station.
In that case, she was produced in court and has been placed on a four-day remand.
Pori Moni's case was later transferred to DB.
Meanwhile, RAB also arrested producer Nazrul Islam Raz on charges of making pornographic films and supplying drugs to Pori Moni. A case was also filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act. Another case was filed against him under the Pornography Act. Later, the court placed Raz on a four-day remand in a drug case.
