Umrah Ferdous travels to Saudi to perform Umrah
Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 16 March 2024: Actor Ferdous has gone to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah Hajj. He left for Saudi Arabia on Thursday. His full name is Ferdous Ahmed. He is currently a Member of Parliament.
He was nominated by Bangladesh Awami League in the recently concluded national parliament elections. Apart from acting in films, Ferdous has also gained fame in modeling and presenting. He holds a higher degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Dhaka University.
Firdous' first film is hero Salman Shah's unfinished work 'Buker Bhitor Agun'. Then in 1998, he made his solo debut as a hero in the movie 'Prithibi Amare Chai Na' directed by Anjan Chowdhury. After that, he became widely discussed and popular in the year 1998 with the joint production movie Hathat Bristhi directed by Indian filmmaker Basu Chatterjee.
Apart from this, there are many popular movies starring Ferdous. Notable among these are 'Ganga Jatra', 'Kusum Kusum Prem', 'Ek Cup Cha', 'Premer Jwala', 'Bou-Shasurir Juddho', 'Pran Man', 'Nandit Narake', 'Chandrakatha', 'Amr Ache Jal', 'Khairun Sundari', 'Dui Nayoner Alo', 'Ohooler Moto Bou' etc.
