Pori Moni Legal notice served to Pori Moni over validity of her marriage to Razz
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, February 17: Comilla Bar's lawyer Joynal Abedin has sent a legal notice to actress Pori Moni seeking to know the validity of her marriage to actor Shariful Razz. If she does not respond to the notice within the next seven working days, the lawyer will take legal action.
On Tuesday (February 15) night, Advocate Joynal Abedin informed the media about sending a legal notice to Pori Moni.
Advocate Joynal Abedin said that on April 4, 2012, Pori Moni got married to a man named Ferdous Kabeer Sourav of Keshabpur in Jessore. "I have learned from reliable sources that she married a man named Shariful Razz of Brahmanbaria without divorcing the previous husband. If Parimani can show Sourav the proof of divorce, we don't have to talk about it."
"If she got married again without a divorce, then she has violated the customary law and the matter is also in conflict with the Shariah law. That is why I wanted the matter to be clear. I will take legal action if I do not receive any reply within the next seven working days," he said.
The lawyer, in the legal notice, mentioned if Pori Moni does not publish the certified copy of her divorce with Kabeer Sourav and certificate of marriage with Razz, along with her response to the notice, he will take legal action against the actress.
