Mujib Biopic Mujib: The Making of a Nation to release in 153 cinema halls across Bangladesh
Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 12 October 2023: 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation' is based on the biography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This much discussed movie is going to be released in 153 theaters of the country tomorrow, Friday (October 13).
Abdul Aziz, head of Jazz Multimedia, said this at a press conference organized at a five-star hotel in the capital on Tuesday (October 10) night.
He said, "There has been a lot of interest among the theater owners in screening the film. As a result, we are releasing it in 153 theatres. There is no pressure, 'Mujib' is being released in this record number of theaters because of their interest."
The crew was present at the press conference. Actor Arifin Shuvoo played the role of Bangabandhu in the movie. He said, "We have tried to make everyone portray the character. The movie is releasing in Bangladesh on October 13. After that it will be released in India and then it will be released all over the world. I urge everyone to go and watch the movie."
The film is a joint production of Bangladesh and India and is directed by famous Indian director Shyam Benegal. Arifin Shuvoo played the role of Bangabandhu in this movie. Nusrat Imroz Tisha as Fazilatun Nesha Mujib, Nusrat Faria as Sheikh Hasina, Riyaz Ahmed as Tajuddin Ahmed.
Apart from this, Dilara Zaman, Chanchal Chowdhury, Siam Ahmed, Zayed Khan, Khairul Alam Sabuj, Ferdous Ahmed, Dighi, Raisul Islam Asad, Gazi Rakayet, Taukir Ahmed, Misha Saudagar and more than hundred actors of the country have acted in other roles.
