National Film Awards National Film Awards: Jaya-Shimu best actress, Chanchal best actor
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 31 October 2023: Government has announced 'National Film Awards-2022'. This time, Suchinta Chowdhury (Chanchal Chowdhury) was selected as the best actor for playing the lead role in the film 'Hawa' and Jaya Ahsan for 'Beauty Circus' and Rikita Nandini Shimu for Made in Bangladesh.
Muhammad Abdur Qayyum dirceted film 'Kura Pokkhir Shunne Uda' and 'Paran' by Md. Tamjid ul Alam were jointly selected as the best film. Syeda Rubaiyat Hossain won the best film director for the film Made in Bangladesh.
The list of National Film Award recipients has been released in a notification by the Ministry of Information on Tuesday. In recognition of their glorious and outstanding contribution to the film industry, 27 artists and crews have been nominated for the National Film Award this year.
Actor Khosru (Bir Muktijodha Kamrul Alam Khan Khosru) and actress Rozina (Roshan Ara Rozina) are getting lifetime honors.
