Dhaka, January 28: Popular actress Pori Moni has been hospitalised with Covid-19 symptoms on Thursday.
On Tuesday (January 25) night, Pori Moni took part in Aranya Anwar's 'Maa' movie unit at Shalna in Gazipur.
It was said that after finishing the work of this film, Pori Moni will go on a long maternity leave. To that end, the shooting was scheduled for Wednesday (January 26) morning. In that measure, Pori Moni joined the unit on Tuesday night. However, before the shooting started on Wednesday (January 26), Pari Moni's symptoms started getting worse. Symptoms of coronavirus include fever and cough.
When the condition of the actress deteriorated further at midnight, she was immediately brought to Dhaka in the early hours of the morning and admitted to a private hospital. At that time the heroine was accompanied by her husband Shariful Raaz. It is learned that after being admitted to the hospital in the morning on Thursday (January 27), samples were given for Covid-19 test. It will take time to get results. However, Pori Moni could not be reached for comment.
Producer Aranya Anwar said, "We decided to call off the shooting on Wednesday (January 26) morning after accessing Pori Moni's condition. Her health is of more impostance that the shooting. But Pori kept saying that she wants to wait a day. She believed that the fever would go away and she will return home after completing the shoot. But, on Wednesday night, the situation worsened. Soon Raaz took her to a hospital in Dhaka."
