Tollywood Movie Pori Moni is teaming up with Kolkata's Soham
Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 14 March 2024: Pori Moni is going to cross the border and make her name in Tollywood movies. Popular Kolkata actor Soham Chakraborty will be seen with her in an upcoming movie titled 'Felubakshi'. The movie will be directed by Devraj Sinha. The shooting is scheduled to start from March 26 in parts of Kolkata.
Earlier, Pori Moni acted in a Dhaka-Kolkata joint production, but this time she will act in a movie entirely funded by a West Bengal production company.
Pori Moni confirmed the fact of acting in a Kolkata movie to a local media house on Wednesday. She said, "I have longed to work in Kolkata cinema. I felt that their works are very organized. As a result, the work gets completed and released timely. Last year when I received the award there, I had said that I want to work in Kolkata. Scripts started coming in. Since I have been wanting to work for a long time, I thought I could start with this movie."
As per reports, 'Felubakshi' is a thriller movie. Pori Moni will play a mysterious character named Lavanya.
Pori Moni said that she is going to Kolkata for a movie next week. She will attend a five-day grooming class before the shoot. Pori Moni will also shoot an advertisement in Kolkata.
