Prime Minister Hasina hosts dinner in honor of artists and crew of 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation'

Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary KM Sakhawat Moon said that during the dinner, the Prime Minister exchanged greetings with the invited guests and inquired about their well-being.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina urged the concerned parties to produce such films in the future so that the new generation can know the history correctly. He directed the concerned to renovate and reopen closed cinema halls in various districts of the country.

Later, the Prime Minister handed over mementos to the artists and crew of the film. Famous Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal has directed the film, depicting the life and political activities of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Bangabandhu's eldest daughter Sheikh Hasina watched the premiere show of the biopic at the Bangladesh Film Archive at Agargaon in the capital on Thursday. The film was simultaneously released in theaters across the country on Friday.
