Rezwana Choudhury Bannya Rabindra Sangeet artist Rezwana Choudhury Bannya receives Lifetime Achievement honour
Entertainment Correspondent, Dhaka, Oct 19: 'Oikko-Channel i Music Awards 2022' was held at Sheikh Russell Cantonment at the west end of Padma Bridge. On this occasion, a grand programme was organized on October 18 (Tuesday) evening. One of the main highlights of the star-studded event was the Lifetime Awards. Eminent Rabindra Sangeet artist Rezwana Choudhury Bannya received this Lifetime Achievement honour this year.
Army Chief SM Shafiuddin Ahmed handed over the memento to this distinguished artist. Channel i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagar presented the certificate.
Rezwana Choudhury Bannya expressed her feelings on receiving the lifetime award and said, "I am sincerely grateful for such recognition. Such recognition and honour is always gratifying. Every artist wants to be recognized for their work. I am grateful to the creator, my parents, the audience, my students for the honor that has been given to me today. Recognition and honour increase commitment to work. When I get such an honour, I think I really deserve it! I always pray that I can become that worthy."
Runa Laila, Sabina Yasmin, Rezwana Chowdhury Banya, Mohammad Khurshid Alam, Abida Sultana, Naqeeb Khan, Kumar Biswajit, Samina Chowdhury, Fahmida Nabi, Mumtaz, Manam Ahmed, Shama Rahman, Linu Billah, Shafi Mandal, Anima Roy, performed music in the event.
