YouTuber Rafsan becomes the first Bangladeshi to get invited to YouTube's Asia Pacific headquarters
Dhaka, February 17: Popular content creator Iftekhar Rafsan, better known as Rafsan the Chhoto Bhai, has visited YouTube's Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore as the first Bangladeshi YouTuber.
Rafsan confirmed the matter in a post on social media Facebook on Thursday (February 15). Rafsan's achievement is seen as a milestone for himself and the content creators of Bangladesh.
At YouTube's Asia Pacific region headquarters, Rafsan carried a handcrafted Bangladesh flag made of Jamdani cloth; Jamdani has been recognized as a cultural heritage by UNESCO.
In a Facebook post, Rafsan thanked YouTube. He thanked her for inviting her and praised the beauty of YouTube's office.
"This is not my win, this is our win, for Bangladesh. My love and thanks to you guys for letting me represent Bangladesh," he wrote.
Iftekhar Rafsan, a popular food vlogger of Bangladesh, started his YouTube career in 2014.
