Satao Satao in international platform
Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 23 December 2023: Khandakar Sumon has produced the movie 'Satao' with public funding. Along with playing in the theaters of the country, the movie has received awards in foreign film festivals. In the meantime, the film won the 'Gautam Buddha Award' for the best film in the international competition category at the Nepal International Film Festival. The movie 'Satao' is available on Amazon Prime Video on the international OTT platform from Wednesday midnight.
Khandakar Suman said, "It's a big achievement. I didn't lose the movie. The audience wants to see it. So now it's on Amazon Prime. It's going to be seen on some more international platforms. There's talk about that."
The story of the movie 'Satao' revolves around the struggling lives of farmers and the universal struggle of women from marginalized backgrounds. Besides directing, Khandkar Suman wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues of the movie 'Satao'.
Ainun Putul and Fazlul Haque played the lead roles in the movie. Sabera Yasmin, Tashmita Shimu, Mitu Sarkar etc also acted.
