Pornography Act Subah files case against Elias, his ex-wife under the Pornography Act
Dhaka, January 14: Actress Shah Humaira Subah has filed a case against singer Ilyas Hossain and his second wife Karin Naz, a Swedish expatriate, under the Digital Security and Pornography Act. According to newspaper reports, Subah got married to singer Elias on December 21. After a few days they separated.
The information was confirmed by Sub-Inspector of Police Alamgir Hossain, General Registration Officer of Banani Police Station on Wednesday (January 12).
He said Shah Humaira Subah filed the case with the Banani Police Station on Tuesday (January 11) night. The statement of the case came to the court on Wednesday. After that, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arafatul Rakib accepted Ezhar and fixed February 18 for investigation and submission of report.
According to the plaintiff in the case, the plaintiff sent screenshots on the social media WhatsApp containing offensive pictures and videos and published and disseminated offensive and defamatory statements through digital medium with the aim of tarnishing social dignity. According to the statement, Karin Naz is the alleged wife and model of singer Ilyas Hossain.
Earlier, on the night of January 3, Subah filed a case against Ilias Hossain at Banani Police Station under the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act. The investigation report of the case is scheduled to be submitted on January 19.
