Surongo Surongo to release in India on July 21
Dhaka, July 18: Director Raihan Rafi's movie, Surongo, released this Eid.
The movie has gained momentum on the third week of its release and is currently running housefull shows. Surongo's release in India was much discussed during its release in Bangladesh. Indian production house Shree Venkatesh Films (SVF) has announced on Facebook that the movie will release release in India's West Bengal on July 21.
"The wait is over. After its blockbuster run in Bangladesh, Surongo will hit theatres in West Bengal on July 21," the post in Bangla read.
Meanwhile, Surongo marked the big screen debut of popular actor Afran Nisho. Apart from him, actress Toma Mirza and Shahiduzzaman Selim has also played pivotal roles in the movie.
On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the movie 'Surongo' produced by Alpha Eye Studio Limited and Chorki was released on June 29. After the release of the movie, there has been a lot of interest among the audience. On the other hand, Chorki said that in the first week of its release, only Star Cineplex sold two crore tickets of the movie.
