Journalist Tanjin Tisha apologises to journalists
Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 29 November 2023: Small screen actress Tanjin Tisha expressed regret after unprofessional behavior and speech against journalists. The actress expressed her regret after a meeting with journalists at the DB office on Mintu Road in the capital. She also urged journalists to work together again.
Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police Chief Additional Police Commissioner Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid, Abhiniya Shilpi Sangh President Actor Ahsan Habib Nasim, General Secretary Raonak Hasan and many others were present there.
Tisha said, "Today I am the actress Tanjin Tisha with the love and support of all of you. I was ill in the hospital a few days ago. After returning home from there, I saw that two news portals reported my suicide attempt. At that time, the journalist Tamim, whom I had never met before, sent me a message and after reading that, the question was not logical at this time."
The actress also said, "I couldn't imagine that someone could message me about such a thing or ask a woman such a question. I couldn't control myself and called him and told him that I would take the utmost action. My manner wasn't correct. Later, I realized my mistake and apologized to everyone."
"In the meantime, other journalists got angry and protested after listening to my phone records, which is very logical. But many people around me and my family write false, fabricated nonsense news and articles on social media that are very disrespectful as a woman as an artiste."
