Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 19 January 2024: Popular small screen actress Urmila Srabonti Kar started her journey in the showbiz arena through Lux Channel i Superstar competition. After that, she worked in numerous dramas and telefilms one by one. The actress has also been seen as a model for music videos. Urmila has worked in numerous telefilms in her long career, but this is the first time Urmila is working in a web film. The name of the web film is 'Tribhuj'. It is directed by Alok Hasan written by Munhana Vritta.
Its shooting started in Uttara of the capital on January 15. Visualization will be completed in 8 consecutive days. Webfilm 'Tribhuj' will be seen in Deep Play soon.
Urmila will participate in the shooting of the web film on Thursday. The actress is going to start her journey on the OTT platform through this web film. She will be seen in the role of a lawyer. About this, Urmila said, "For the first time in my career, I am working for an OTT platform. Its story is great. I have read the entire script. I am doing this because I like the character after reading the script. I believe the audience is going to get a good work."
Urmila studied Law at Chittagong University. Therefore, in response to the question whether she will get any special advantage in playing the role of a lawyer in the web film, she said, "For the sake of acting, one has to work in many types of roles. There are many characters that one gets to know while acting. There is no problem in this case. But since I have studied law, it is natural that there will be some advantage in doing the character."
Apart from acting, Urmila is also a politician. Currently, she is serving as the Cultural Secretary of Bangladesh Central Women's Awami League. This star regularly participates in the various campaigns of the 12th Parliament election as well as the various activities of the Awami League.
