Food inflation exceeds 12.5%

Dhaka, Nov 7: Although various initiatives have been taken to reduce inflation, its reflection is not seen in the market. Prices of almost all products are increasing. Common people are struggling to pay for food. Common people's income is not increasing in line with inflation. According to the government, the food inflation rate in the country has increased to 12.56 percent. Which was 8.50 percent at this time last year. It was at 12.37 percent in September (last month).

LPG prices go up once again

Own correspondent, Dhaka, 3 November 2023: The price of 12 kg LPG gas has been increased from Tk 1,363 to Tk 1,381 at the consumer level. The new prices are effective from Thursday. Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission announced the new price in a press conference.

We should not depend on hard currency: PM

The average daily remittance inflow is 6 crore 25 lakh US dollars or about Tk 688 crore.

Lowest remittance in 41 months comes in September
