National Export Trophy 72 companies to get national export trophy
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, July 27: Seventy-two companies including PRAN have been selected for the 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Export Trophy' based on the highest export income in the financial year 2018-19. This information was revealed by a source of the Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday (July 26) night.
Rifat Garments Limited is getting the best export company award this year based on the highest export income. This time Rifat Garments Ltd. is getting gold medal, AKM Knitwear Ltd. is getting silver medal and Anant Apparels Ltd. is getting bronze medal in readymade garments (oven) sector. GMS Composite Knitting Industries Ltd, Square Fashions and 4H Fashions Ltd are getting the gold, silver and bronze medals respectively in the readymade garments (knitwear) category.
Apart from this, Badsha Textile Limited, Kamal Yarn Limited and Nice Cotton Limited are getting gold, silver and bronze respectively in all types of yarn sector. On the other hand, Envoy Textile Limited is getting gold medal in textile fabrics sector. In this sector Akiz Textile Mills Limited is getting silver medal and Nice Denim Mills Limited is getting bronze medal.
Jaber & Jobair Fabrics Limited is getting gold medal in home and specialty textile products. Noman Teritawell Mills Limited is getting Gold Medal in Teritawell sector. The companies selected for gold, silver and bronze medals in the frozen food sector are Jalalabad Frozen Foods Limited, Apex Foods Limited and MU Sea Foods Limited respectively.
International Jute Traders gets gold medal in raw jute sector. Akiz Jute Mills Ltd. got gold medal, Karim Jute Spinners Ltd. got silver medal and Wohab Jute Mills Ltd. got bronze medal.
In crust or finished leather products sector Apex Tannery Limited is getting gold medal and SAF Industries is getting silver medal.
Pickard Bangladesh Limited is getting gold medal, ABC Footwear Industries Limited is getting silver medal and BBJ Leather Goods Limited is getting bronze medal.
In the footwear category, gold medal is bagged by Bay-Footwear Limited, silver medal by Royal Footwear Limited and bronze medal by FB Footwear Limited.
Mansoor General Trading Limited and Indigo Corporation got the silver medal in the agricultural products (excluding tobacco) sector. In the Agricultural Processed Products (Except Tobacco) sector, gold medal is awarded to Pran Dairy Limited, silver medal to Pran Agro Limited and bronze medal to Pran Foods Limited.
M/s Rajdhani Enterprises got gold medal in full foliage category and Elin Foods Trend got silver medal.
Karupanya Rangpur Limited is getting the gold medal in the handicrafts sector, BD Creation is getting the silver medal and Classical Handmade Products BD is getting the bronze medal.
