Bangladesh: Gold price reduced
Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (Bajus) on Sunday slashed the price of gold for the second time in the past three weeks.
Price of the precious metal has been cut by 1.26 per cent or Tk 1,167 a bhori, which will reduce pressure on the wallets of customers buying gold ornaments, reports The Daily Star.
With the latest cut, a customer will be able to buy one bhori of 22-carat gold (11.664 grammes) at Tk 91,095, down from Tk 92,263 which was made effective on February 5 this year, the newspaper reported.
The new prices will be effective from Monday.
