GDP Bangladesh's GDP increases 4.5 times in last 14 years
Dhaka, August 16: In 14 years, the country's GDP has increased four and a half times. Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said this at the National Mourning Day discussion at the district Awami League party office in Comilla city on Tuesday.
He said that the Awami League government has continued development for the last 14 years. GDP increased from $100 billion to $454 billion. Which is more than 4 and a half times compared to 2009.
The minister said, Bangabandhu is not just a name, he is awakened history. Bangabandhu's whole life was surrounded by history. As long as this country exists, Bangabandhu will live among Bengalis by virtue of his work.
He also said that currently the per capita income has increased four and a half times from 696 dollars to about 2,700 dollars.
