Price Hike Electricity price hiked by 5 percent at consumer level
Dhaka, February 28: In the executive order, the price of electricity at the consumer level has increased by 5 percent. In 2023, the price of electricity has been increased for the third time.
A notification in this regard was issued by the Power Division on Tuesday (February 28). The increased new electricity price bill will be effective from March.
Earlier, on January 31, the Power Division issued a notification to increase the price of wholesale and retail electricity. It was then informed that the increased electricity price bill will be effective from February.
Earlier on January 12, a notification was issued to increase the price of electricity in the executive order.
