Finance Minister to present Tk 6.78 lakh crore national budget today

This time, a national budget of Tk 6 lakh 78 thousand 64 crore will be presented with the goal of returning to the continuity of development after overcoming the Corona crisis. This is the fourth budget of the third consecutive term of the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

According to sources in the Ministry of Finance, the country's marginalized people will get authority in the next budget. This year's budget, entitled "Overcoming the Covid's Impact and Returning to the Continuity of Development", is a combination of the government's past achievements and the current situation that has arisen. This year's budget has given due importance to inflation control, agriculture, health, human resources, employment and education.

In order to make the budget more participatory, any person or organization can go through and download all the information and important documents of the budget on the website of the Department of Finance. At the same time, comments and recommendations about the budget can be sent from the country and abroad by filling the feedback form through that website. All opinions and recommendations received will be considered.

It will be implemented during and after the approval of the budget by the National Assembly.
