PRAN-RFL Group PRAN-RFL Group receives 'Enterprise of the Year' award
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Sept 3: PRAN-RFL Group, one of the leading industrial groups in the country, has been awarded in the 'Enterprise of the Year' category for its contribution to food and agro-processing, business diversification, and exports.
Chairman and CEO Ahsan Khan Chowdhury accepted the award on behalf of the company. Three individuals and business organizations of the country have been awarded for their outstanding contributions to business. The award named 'Bangladesh Business Award, 2021' is organized by the international logistics company DHL and the English daily The Daily Star.
The award ceremony was organized on Friday (September 2) at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the capital. The Chief Guest Planning Minister MA Mannan presented the prizes to the winners at the 20th edition of Bangladesh Business Awards.
Among the organizers present were RS Subramanian, Senior Vice-President of Commercial Affairs of DHL Express and India Manager of the organization, Mahfuz Anam, Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star, Country Manager of DHL Worldwide Express Bangladesh Limited Md. Miarul Haque.
Bangladesh Business Award was given in three categories this year. Among them, MA Jabbar, Managing Director of DBL Group, received the award in the category of 'Business Person of the Year' or 'Business Person of the Year'. Industrial group Pran-RFL Group received the award in the category of 'Best Business Entrepreneur of the Year' or 'Enterprise of the Year'. Chairman and CEO Ahsan Khan Chowdhury accepted the award on behalf of the company. And the country's largest MFS institution Bikash Limited received the award in the 'Best Financial Institution of the Year' category. CEO Kamal Qadir received the award on behalf of the company.
In the speech of the chief guest, the Minister of Planning said that we are always encouraging and supporting the private sector. I hope that by 2041, we can take the country's economy to a trillion-dollar house. However, for this, we need the cooperation of the domestic industrialists as well as the friendly countries of the world.
