Special discounts at Trade Fair to attract buyers
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 27 January 2024: The number of buyers and visitors has increased at the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF). People of different ages have been coming to the fair grounds since Saturday morning. As the day progressed, their number also increased. After noon, the fair grounds were filled with visitors. However, the sellers say that even though the number of people in the fair has increased, sales have not increased. Most of the visitors to the fair are visitors. However, discounts and offers have been given in the stalls to attract customers.
It can be seen around the fair premises, some people are taking pictures while entering the gate of Dhaka International Trade Fair, some are showing the scene of the fair to their relatives through video calls. Many have come with family, some have come to visit with friends. Some are even shopping again. Rocky came to the fair with some friends from Matuail of the capital. He said, we have come to visit on holidays. After a few days, the crowd will increase in the fair. But today is a holiday and it is crowded.
Asked whether he had bought anything, Rocky said, "Now I am looking at the stall-pavilion offers." No desire to buy. But I can buy even if the price matches. Prakash Mondal brought his wife and children to the fair. He said, he did not come to the fair last time. I came early this time. There are discounts on crockery items at fairs. For this reason bring the family. Would like to buy some clothes if possible.
On the other hand, the stall-pavilion has appeared with many discounts and offers to attract buyers in the fair. Bisque Club is offering special discounts on food products. In their stall, special boxes of wafers, cookies and cakes worth 310 rupees are available for 249 rupees. With this box is given free.
According to the sources related to the organizer, last year, 331 stalls participated in the fair, both domestic and foreign. A total of 350 stalls will participate this year. In addition to domestic entrepreneurs, participating traders from various countries including Singapore, Turkey, Hong Kong, Iran, India, Pakistan will sell their products at the fair.
