Sheikh Hasina 200 relatives of martyred Indian soldiers in the Liberation War received Mujib Scholarship
Dhaka, 7 September 2022 : The Government has given 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Student Scholarship' to 200 students who are descendants of members of the Indian Armed Forces who were martyred or injured in the Bangladesh Liberation War.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the scholarship to the students at a ceremony in New Delhi on Wednesday (September 7).
Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S Jaishankar, Bangladesh Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque and others.
Among the students who got the scholarship, 100 are from class 10 and 100 are from class 12. In the event, the Prime Minister highlighted the contribution of the Indian people, armed forces and government in the liberation war of Bangladesh.
