At the beginning of the program, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the heroes who were martyred in the war of liberation. Later some of the freedom fighters present reminisced about their adventures during the liberation war. After that, one by one, 64 heroic freedom fighters of the country and seven children who inherited the flag were honored.

President of the event Shariful Islam said in his speech, "I am proud that we have been able to honor the heroic freedom fighters. In the face of their contribution, sacrifice and sense of responsibility towards the country, our honor is very small. It just gave us a satisfaction. We are happy to be around these great people."
