Liberation War A call to restore the spirit of the liberation war
Dhaka, May 28: In a discussion meeting in Dhaka on Saturday, a group of freedom fighters called upon the freedom fighters to unite to restore the spirit of the liberation war.
Bangladesh Freedom Fighters 71, Bangladesh Press Council auditorium organized this discussion meeting, central leader of Bangladesh Workers Party and freedom fighter Abul Hossain. The meeting was organized on the occasion of the 80th birth anniversary of Bangladesh Workers Party president and freedom fighter Rashed Khan Menon.
Rashed Khan Menon said, even after 51 years of the Liberation War, we have failed to implement the spirit of the Liberation War. He called upon all the pro-liberation political parties and freedom fighters to unite in restoring the spirit of the liberation war.
Awami League Advisory Council Member and Bangladesh Peace Council President Mozaffar Hossain Paltu said that Awami League is working to implement the spirit of the Liberation War. Journalist Mahbube Alam, freedom fighter DN Mondal, Shamsul Haque, Anwar Hossain Anu, Abdul Khalek and others spoke in the discussion meeting.
