Minister for Liberation War Affairs, AKM Mozammel Haque, said this. He said, "We want to conserve certain places of the historic Suhrawardy Udyan as the birthplace of the Liberation War, where people can go and know the history of liberation war."

Mentioning that the Awami League government has always worked and is working for the welfare of the heroic freedom fighters, the minister said when others were in power, they only looted.
