6.8 earthquake hits Pakistan

Karachi, Sept 28 : A major earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale shook Pakistan's Sindh and Balochistan provinces on Saturday, reported Geo TV.

 

Tremors were felt are Karachi, Larkana, Sukkur, Quetta and Awaran. 

According US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was near Awaran.

As many as 328 people were killed in a powerful earthquake which rocked southwestern Pakistan on Tuesday.

At least 440 others were injured in the quake which measured 7.7 on the Richter scale.
