Bangalore ATM victim to be discharged

Bangalore, Dec 16: A 44-year-old woman, who was allegedly attacked and robbed inside an ATM booth in Bangalore, is likely to be discharged on Monday.

The woman was critical at a hospital after she was allegedly attacked and robbed inside the ATM booth at 7 am on Nov 19.


According to reports, the CCTV footage of the ATM showed the attacker entering the booth, repeatedly attacking the woman with a machete, robbing her and then escaping from the site. There was no security guard at the Corporation Bank ATM booth. 

The victim, who is a bank manager by profession, was admitted to BGS Hospital in a critical condition. Doctors said her CT scam showed a fractured skull.

The Bangalore Police arrested the accused in December.
