Dhaka, May 17: Hili traders in Bangladesh have stopped all activities, including import and export, as the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) obstructed the construction of a temporary shed for passport holders in the Zero Point area of the Hakimpur Hili border in Dinajpur. They stopped import and export on Sunday (May 16) from 3:30 pm.

Abdul Aziz, president of the Hili C&F Agents Association, said, "Since the Hili border area is densely populated, a temporary shed for passport holders was started in the Zero Point area of the border, keeping in mind the health risks of the people here. We have decided to stop all import and export activities as the issue has not been resolved after repeated discussions with the letter."

Abdul Aziz added, "Imports and exports will remain suspended until the matter is resolved."
