Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanks Agriculture Minister Razzaque

Dhaka, April 7: The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has thanked the Minister of Agriculture of Bangladesh Dr. Abdur Razzaque in a recent letter, a press release sent from the Ministry of Agriculture on Tuesday (April 6) said.

The Indian Prime Minister thanked the Agriculture Minister for his caring and excellent association as 'Minister in Waiting' during his visit to Bangladesh on March 26 and 27 to mark the birth centenary of Bangabandhu and the golden jubilee of independence.

Narendra Modi wrote in the letter, "I am overwhelmed by your special attention to all aspects of travel destinations for the successful implementation of my short and busy itinerary. I have witnessed your personal goodwill with the officials and local leaders of the areas I have visited."

Narendra Modi lauded the Agriculture Minister for his time and dedication during his visit.

He further mentioned, "The issues discussed and views exchanged with the Minister of Agriculture during the visit are very important in the context of Bangladesh-India bilateral relations."

The Prime Minister of India was pleased to discuss and exchange views with the Minister of Agriculture.
