Pakistan: Airstrikes on Taliban hideouts kill 30

Miranshah, Feb 25 : At least 30 militants were killed as Pakistani fighter jets and gunship helicopters bombarded hideouts of Taliban militants in North and South Waziristan Agency on Tuesday, media reports said.

 "The death toll from the air strikes has risen to 30," a security official told Geo News.

 
Since Feb 20, this has been the fourth in a series of air strikes by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on hideouts in the North and South Waziristan tribal districts of the country.
 
Cobra helicopters were used in the action, Geo News reported, quoting  sources.
