Passenger plane goes missing in Nepal

Kathmandu, Feb 16 : A passenger plane, which is carrying 18 people,went missing in Nepal on Sunday, media reports said.

 The  Nepal Airlines aircraft took off  from Pokhara airport and reportedly disappeared after 15 minutes.

"The condition of 18 persons aboard, including three crew members, a child and a Denmark national, is also unknown. Two choppers belonging to Fishtail Air and Nepal Army were unable to land anywhere in the suspected areas due to bad weather," The Himalayan Times reported.

Officials, however,  have not confirmed so far that the plane has crashed. 

"Separate rescue teams from Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have been struggling to find the missing plane\'s whereabouts," the newspaper reported.
