Bangladesh-India Saima Wazed gifts souvenir to Narendra Modi
New Delhi, Sept 9: Saima Wazed, granddaughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and only daughter of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, presented a souvenir to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday.
Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF) Thematic Ambassador and Chairperson of National Advisory Committee on Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Saima Wazed handed over the souvenir at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence in New Delhi.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bangabandhu's son Radwan Mujeeb Siddique and Sheikh Rehana were present at the time. A productive bilateral meeting between the Prime Ministers of Bangladesh and India was held at the Indian Prime Minister's residence on Friday afternoon.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was welcomed by Narendra Modi when she arrived at the Indian Prime Minister's residence. Sheikh Hasina arrived in New Delhi on Friday on a three-day visit to attend the G-20 Summit at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bangabandhu's youngest daughter Sheikh Rehana is also accompanying the Prime Minister on this visit.
