Sheikh Hasina meets with Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi
Own Correspondent, New Delhi, Sept 8: Nobel laureate social reformer and child rights activist Kailash Satyarthi paid a courtesy call on visiting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi.
The meeting was held on Wednesday (September 7) in the meeting room of 'ITC Maurya', where the Prime Minister is staying during her four-day visit. They exchanged pleasantries at the meeting.
Apart from this, India's Northeast Development Minister G Kishan Reddy also paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister.
Earlier on Tuesday (September 6), the Prime Minister held a bilateral and private meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 'Hyderabad House'. After the meeting, seven MoUs were signed between the two countries. Later, the Prime Minister also had a courtesy call on the President of India, Draupadi Murmu.
After the four-day visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to return to Bangladesh today (Thursday, September 8).
