Dhaka, June 16: Bangladesh was the joint organizer of the 2011 Cricket World Cup. The Bangladesh Cricket Board co-hosted the World Cup with India and Sri Lanka. Then in 2014 the country organized the T20 World Cup alone. It has also hosted the Asia Cup. Now, Bangladesh wants to host the World Cup and Champions Trophy in the future.

FIFA Congress votes on future of Women’s World Cup hosting, to explore new competition opportunities

Zurich, May 22: The 71st FIFA Congress has unanimously voted to bring the bidding process for the hosting of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in line with the process for the men’s FIFA World Cup. The allocation of all future hosts will be voted on by the FIFA Congress, just as is the case with the FIFA World Cup, and will no longer be decided by the FIFA Council (as was still the case most recently in June 2020, when Australia and New Zealand were announced as hosts of the 2023 edition in a transparent vote).

No charges will be bought under the ICC Anti-Corruption Code against any of the five Participants to the Code who featured in the programme due to insufficient credible and reliable evidence.
