Dhaka, January 21: Nasir Hossain is in dream form. He is trying his best for the team in every match with bat and ball. But his team Dhaka Dominators is not able to rise from the bottom. Nasir's all-round performance failed once again. After taking 2 wickets with the ball, he played an unbeaten innings of 54 runs. However, his team lost to Fortune Barisal by 12 runs.

In this win, Shakib's Barisal caught Mashrafe Bin Mortaza's Sylhet Strikers, who were at the top with 10 points in 6 matches. Dhaka Dominators are at the bottom with only one win and a draw.

The target was 174 runs. Usman Goni gave a flying start to Dhaka with his innings of 30 runs off 19 balls. But Soumya Sarkar failed once again. He played 15 balls and scored 16 runs. Then Mohammad Imran returned for three runs. Dhaka lost 3 wickets for 59 runs. Nasir's fight with Mohammad Mithun started from there. The pair added 89 runs. Dhaka needed 38 runs in the last three overs with 7 wickets in hand. When Mithun returned with 47 runs off 38 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes, they needed 26 off 9 balls.

But Mohammed Wasim, who dismissed Mithun, gave only 7 runs in the 19th over. In this, Dhaka's hope of victory waned. With 25 needed in the last over, Dhaka could manage only 11 runs. Nasir remained unbeaten on 54 off 36 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.
