Dhaka: Bangladesh gave Australia a tight fight in the crucial T20 clash before being defeated here on Saturday.

The Tiger bowlers did that hard work. They even created the possibility of winning a time. Although the last did not save. Chasing a target of 105, Australia finally got a breathtaking 3-wicket win with one over to spare. After this victory, the visiting team fell behind 3-1 in the five-match series.

Tiger bowlers have played with the mentality of not giving up from the beginning. In that attempt, Bangladesh got the wicket in the first over. Mahedi Hasan bowled Aussie captain Matthew Wade in a great delivery. But as soon as he came to the wicket, Dan Christian appeared in a horrible look. In the fourth over of the innings, the right-handed batsman drowned Shakib Al Hasan in shame. He hit 5 sixes in one over.

Christian hit three sixes off the first three balls of the over. The Aussie batsman missed the next ball to sweep the slog as hard as he hit a six. But he hit two sixes in the next two balls.

In the next over, Nasum Ahmed lbw McDermott (5 off 12 balls). In his next over, Mostafizur Rahman returned the formidable Dan Christian (39 off 15 balls) with a catch by Shamim Patwari. Australia lost 3 wickets before 50 (49 runs).

The misfortune started when Moyes Hendrix was caught out in the eighth over. Mitchell Marsh played a straight shot to Shakib. At the end of the nonstrike, the stumps were broken by the bowler's hand. Hendricks (4) returned the unfortunate out.

The Tigers quickly returned to the match after dismissing Alex Carre and Marsh. In the tenth over, Mostafiz made Carke (1) lbw. In the next over, Mahdi bowled Marsh (11) for a great delivery. The Tigers took 6 wickets for 75 runs.

After that Ashton Agar brought the team close to victory by playing an innings of 26 runs from 26 balls. Shariful Islam came back in the 17th over. Shamim Patwari took a great catch.

However, there was no run pressure on Australia. Despite losing 6 wickets for 99 runs, the visitors needed only 6 runs from 15 balls. Even after bowling well, Bangladesh did not win.
Mostafiz bowled well in this match too. He took 2 wickets for 9 runs in 4 overs. Mahedi Hasan took 2 wickets for 18 runs in equal overs.
