Bangladesh announces team for Women's Asia Cup
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Sept 27: The Women's Asia Cup will be held in Bangladesh from October 1 to 15. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for this women's T20 tournament.
Bangladesh women's team will play in the Asia Cup under the leadership of Nigar Sultana. They will play Thailand in the opening match of the tournament on October 1. All the matches will be held in Sylhet.
Bangladesh is the current champion of this tournament. In 2018, Bangladesh's girls returned from Malaysia with the trophy after defeating India. Recently they also won the World Cup Qualifiers.

Nigar Sultana Jyoti (captain), Shamima Sultana, Farzana Hoque Pinky, Rumana Ahmed, Ritu Moni, Lata Mandal, Salma Khatun, Sobhana Mostari, Nahida Akhtar, Murshida Khatun, Jahanara Alam, Fahima Khatun, Sanjida Akter Meghla, Fariha Islam Trishna, and Sohali Aktar.
