Tri-series Bangladesh cricket team to depart for New Zealand tonight for tri-series
Dhaka, September 30: The World Cup is on Australian soil. Before that, the best chance to prove their mettle on the bouncy pitch is the upcoming tri-series. Pakistan is another opponent of Bangladesh in this series on New Zealand soil. The Tigers are leaving the country tonight (Friday) to take part in this important series.
Bangladesh cricket team will catch the flight at 11.55 pm. They are expected to reach there on the morning of October 2.
The cricketers will get a day's rest to get back to the groove. After that practice will start from the 4th. Regular captain Shakib Al Hasan, who is in the Caribbean for the CPL, is scheduled to join the team on October 2.
Meanwhile, it is known that all the players of the original squad are in the national team, but standby cricketers Sheikh Mahdi Hasan and Rishad Hossain are not going to New Zealand. Pacers Shariful Islam and Soumya Sarkar are being replaced by them.
